Eelpout Festival
Our favorite place at the Eelpout Festival – A group of travel trailers and wheel houses set up by a beautifully decorated fire pit. The hosts of this place were hospitable showing a big group of us through their units. One was a custom decorated wheel house that had to be worth 50 grand. Even with that beauty as part of the layout, they still called their Shangri-La at the Eelpout Festival – TRAILER TRASH – And they were catching fish. When we got there Friday night they had eelpout, walleyes and perch. This spot sits in 30 feet of water, with a slow tapering bottom of sand and contains lots of fish. Here it is...
